My wife and I had a lousy experience here in mid September. From the English-speaking front desk staff who couldn't have cared less, to the peeling wallpaper, to the empty bottle left in the room, to the toilet that didn't work in a semi-clean bathroom, the hotel was unattractive on many levels. Did I mention there were no bed springs?... More

We stayed at this hotel for three nights in mid September 2011. It was booked several months before and I was aware of some of the reviews. Whoever grades the hotels in Rome have got this one wrong. It is by no means a four star. Our room, on the first floor overlooking the main street was generally small and... More

The Hotel Torino has a fine reception with english speaking staff, that is manned 24 hrs. And the roof terrase is nice, eventhough the nice furniture and flowers from the pictures has been replaced with somewhat more basic furniture of metal. That is positive. Also the location is fine, with 5 min to the trainstation and metro, or if you... More

We booked the Torino Hotel, Via Principe Amedeo, Rome, for four nights at the start of May 2011, mainly for the good location. After looking at TripAdvisor I decided to ignore some of the comments..........a bit of an error!! Reception really is a problem here. ‘Mr Grumpy 1 & 2’ on the front desk is no exaggeration! There is a... More

My wife and I stayed in this hotel , for a night before our cruise. The hotel is in a very tourist convenient locale. It is quiet close to the central train station and also in the middle of the ancient Rome. It is actually situated, very close to the colloseum.. The rooms are ok , though could have been... More

Generally I avoid hotels near train stations, but we were getting desperate to find something appropriate in Rome and, although more expensive than we had hoped, the Torino was near a hotel our friends recommended. We found that being near the Stazione Termini was a great location, with loads of good restaurants in the neighborhood and easy access to the... More

Stayed here for three nights in June and have no complaints for the price charged. What do people expect for three stars. Location great and room clean and tidy. Bathroom functional and working. Breakfst on a par with other hotels of the same standard in Italy.

I was incredibly disappointed in Hotel Torino. I was with a group of 28 college students studying abroad and we all took a 5 day trip to Rome. My room was one of the many that did not have a working toilet. We notified the desk and they said they would fix it the next day, but after one use,... More

Spent two days in this hotel mid june, before going on a cruise . The hotel was disappointing. The first night we had to flush the toilet with a bucket of water. Second night we were moved to another room ,unfortunately things didnt improve! The same bucket had to be used to catch a drip/leak from the ceiling. Breakfast on... More
