The place isn't well cleaned. The staff isn't particularly friendly. The location kind of sucks, except it's somewhat close to the train station. Unrepaired water damage in the rooms, and a "double" bed is two single beds (each made up as a single bed) pushed together. And they come apart when you want to smuggle. But I will give them... More

The hotel is ok. It is adequate for a 3 stars hotel. The main issue is the noise. If you have problem to sleep, I don't recommend this hotel. The breakfast is good, I loved the Italian bread and the cherry tomatoes with mozzarella! Besides it is located a little far away from the main touristic points, there is a... More

Was a bit disappointed with this place considering I paid quite a lot for what I thought would be a 4 star hotel. Unfortunately it is closer to 3 stars in my opinion. Road noise, being told "turning on the air conditioning was illegal in Rome in April", blocked drain in the shower flooding the bathroom, poor breakfast, uncomfortable beds.... More

This hotel had a lovely breakfast, very good bathrooms & was clean which is unusual for Roma - as the city itself is very dirty. Walls were full of some lovely artwork which was nice, TV reception was dreadful, basically no point of having one in the room at all. Close to metro which takes you all the way to... More

I was nervous b/c we prepaid for this hotel through hotwire. But I'm happy to say, we loved this place! It was walking distance to everything we needed, but it's located just outside of the chaos of the city center so we got a great night sleep. Our room faced the road but noise wasn't an issue at all b/c... More

We recently spent 4 nights at the Emona and we were quite happy with our room and the location of the hotel. Although we would not necessarily classify it as a 4 star hotel, it was more than adequate for our needs. We got the hotel on a 40% discount so the price was right for sure. Because we were... More

More 2/3* Stayed there 4 nights and my back knows it. To say the bed was hard is an understatement, luckily there was a small sofa bed in the room so I added that mattress which helped. We asked to change room on arrival but were told they were full and we had been upgraded to a superior room -... More

Stayed there for 3 nights. The first night was somewhat hectic as the room was too close to the street and one could here all the street noise. We asked to change rooms and we were given another room, this time with better noise proof windows and on the 3rd floor (not facing the street). Staff is very helpful and... More

Even at the entrance you will see it is a 3 star european standards. More a bed and breakfast kind of, with not very good breakfast, but enough to keep you full till noon. Very tiny rooms, trust me on this one!!! Will not recomend and will not return. Location is OK if heading via Coliseum, but very bad is... More
