Having visited Rome with our small travel group several times before and always using the same hotel, it was decided this time that the group would try another hotel.
Having scanned numerous hotels on various websites it was decided to use Hotel Ranieri, Via XX Septtembre 43, Via Veneto 00187.

the hotel was a litle bit old and the room not very clean . when we arrived there was a bad smell throuout the room. however the breakfast was excellent ! the staf was very helpfull and polite ! the location was just perfect next to the center.
Good location, a quiet place near to train station, metro and restaurants
This is a very nice hotel! I'm going to Rome annualy since 2008 and this is the third time I'm going to stay there. It's just a 10 minute walk to Piazza de Spagna, Fontana di Trevi, Via Del Corso and most popular settings in Rome. Rooms are large, very clean and staff were handful. There are two metro stations...

The rooms are maintained well. The staff is super nice and helpful. The rooms are pretty basic but you shouldn't be spending to much time there anyway! The hotel is a bit far from sights and nightlife but the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful as a result.
Although the rooms were a little tired they were clean and we enjoyed our stay here. Staff were helpful and the hotel was close to bus stop and Republica train station. Basement dining room very quaint.
We ended up booking Hotel Ranieri sort of as a last resort and couldn't have been more pleased. It is not absolutely central - but convenient enough - many things are walkable and we used cabs with a great deal of ease. Rooms are very clean and seem new. Fresh towels etc. every day. They were small as to be...
