We have stayed in many european hotel rooms.(many Americans say they are small...we are used to bigger spaces...)But this hotel had ample room.We had three of us and they gave us 3 small twins...which worked out perfect. The bathroom was spacious with nice towels and lots of ammenities .I was pleasently surprised. The breakfast was very typical but very good .The women... This hotel is great because it is right near everything you need to see in Rome within walking distance. Good for families.

spent 3 nights here recently, the hotel is in a good postion for exploring rome, only a few hundred metres from trevi fountain and spanish steps, also v close to metro which is handy if you arrive from termini main train station. Rooms are small but adequate, bed and bathroom clean, fine to use as a base for city break.... More

For starters they had apparently rented out our prebooked, confirmed and prepaid room on the first of our five nights, and proposed us to walk 500m around the corner with our luggage, to another (lesser) hotel. While the quality of the rooms may have been just in line with the 3 stars, the service and hospitality of the senior staff... More

Hotel Quattro Fontane is located down the street from Piazza de Spagna which makes for easy access to the city. HOWEVER, extremely poor A/C in the rooms in the middle of August makes for an uncomfortable night's sleep. Luckily, my friends and I arrived in Rome 1 night prior to our cruise departing from Civitavecchia so I was extremely relieved... More

Normally I wouldn't expect the greatest service in Italy, and certainly not in central Rome - you are, after all, paying for location. However, in this case the service negatively impacted my stay and left me with a sour taste. The location is quite good...not great - there still is a short walk to almost any good sight seeing or... Well, it was ok. Breakfast was reasonable. Location is good. But I asked for the junior suite and I got, what would be in any other hotel in the world, a standard double room. Sure we had a balcony but not worth the rate. The pictures on their site for the junior suite are very misleading. I am coming back... More

The hotel was a block up Piazza Bernini. When the bus driver had pulled over to drop our group off, there were no bellhops to attend to the luggage, so I had to carry up our bags from the street up about half a flight of stairs to the lobby. It was overbooked, so they merged our one Double and... More

The hotel is very well located, everything is just nearby. We stayed in a quad-room and it was big enough for the four of us. Very nice bathroom, big and clean. The extra bed was broken and not suited for adults. We found a contact-lense underneath the bed - and none of us uses contacts...... The staff was friendly enough,... More
