Stayed here for 3 nights on my first trip to Rome. Location is an easy walk from the Termini which made it quite convenient for access to the trains and subway. Room was very clean, albeit small, with comfortable bed. Breakfast has considerable variety, was freshly prepared, and tasty. Hotel staff were helpful and professional; however, the personnel at the... More

- Very clean hotel - very safe and quiet - Close to Rome's main attractions - Extremely polite staff - Nice room on the 5th floor - Very good breakfast - Slept comfortably during my whole stay - cannot really comment on the internet because tough I had my work laptop with me I didn't bother open it for the... I cannot understand the wonderful reviews this hotel has received on TripAdvisor, because our experience was the complete opposite. I reserved a room with a king bed at the Hotel Opera Roma for 4 nights. It was the most expensive hotel we stayed in during our 2-week vacation. When we arrived around 1:30 PM, we were told we would be... More

We stayed here for just one night; originally had booked several nights but changed to Hotel San Pio in Aventine Hll area instead based on a friend's recommendation. Hotel Sonya in kind of so-so area. Was not anywhere near as nice as San Pio. Seems to be charging higher rates probably because of Rick Steves making it popular. New room... More

This little hotel smack in the center of Rome was fine for our group of 8. The breakfasts were good, the rooms & bathrooms clean, and Ivan on front desk quite amiable. Now, if they would just get rid of that infuser in the lobby and blow the dust off the lift cables.

This was my third time staying in Rome and once again I chose for location, location, location. The hotel is not far from the Termini Station. We arrived late afternoon and there was a problem with the room we had booked. We were assured that it would all be looked after the next morning. The staff was most friendly and... More

Two stays at this hotel on our first trip to Italy. 1st floor room was modern and a fun street view. 5th floor room is very modern and spacious and it is a good room. Nice to hear church bells when you sleep. Checkin, checkout, taxi service, directions you name it the staff was able to help. April of 2012.... More

We stayed 3 notes here on our first trip to Italy. After arriving jet lagged at 10:00 AM we left our luggage there and came back after lunch and were allowed up earlier when the nicest desk clerk took pity on me! Cleanest bathroom I ever saw! It looked brand new! Very high tech and unique too. Comfortable bed, great... More

It was our first trip to Rome. We stayed in Hotel Sonya for 3 nights. It is a great choice. As we needed somewhere near the Termini Station at an affordable price, this hotel provided just what we needed. The room was clean and spacious. Their breakfast was enjoyable with lots to choose from. Service was good; they even gave... More

We only had one night to spend in Rome and chose the Hotel Sonya from a Rick Steve's book. It is a great choice. Though the rooms are small, they are clean and very high tech. We even had the ability to make tea and coffee right in the room. It was very clean. We had a great breakfast included... More
