The hotel is in a great location in Rome, and easily accessible to major sites. I walked to the Vatican, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, etc., without issue. I booked this hotel for a weekend that I tacked on to a business trip, so I was solo. The room was small, but comfortable. The toilet was actually located in the shower,... More

Stayed with some friends at this hotel in October. It was an ideal choice for us. The hotel is very basic but the location is great, a 5 minute walk from the station. It was easy to walk to all the sights in Rome from the hotel. I would recommend this if you are looking for a cheap convienient hotel.... More

Can recommend for its central location. Nice staff. Room a bit small.

This hotel was a great find, not far from the Termini, walking distance to major sites. Very very clean and the hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Although on a busy road we did not have a problem with noise. I have been to Rome a few times now and this hotel was exceptional value.

The receptionist knows everything you can do in Rome, where to eat, where to shop and what to see. the room was clean and we were pretty suprised when we arrived to the hotel. the location is just perfect, 8 minutes walk to colosseum and other landmarks, 3 minutes from main railway/subway station. prices are not so high to Rome.... Unfortunately this hotel has closed its doors. We had a reservation for one night in Sept 09 and only learned that the hotel had closed when we arrived and found the doors padlocked and the windows covered over. They didn't notify their existing reservations holders to this, so it came as a total surprise and forced us to find a... More

We are a 30 something aged American couple who stayed here over a busy weekend in June. Hotel is very convenient (5 minutes) to train station and buses and we felt very safe here. We often even walked to or from major attractions within 20-25 minutes and enjoyed wandering the neighborhoods. Staff was helpful and hotel was quiet and nice.... More

Great location! Busstops downstairs and metro around the corner. Most sights on walking distance. The rooms were small, but recently refurbished nicely. Clean room, good beds, airconditioning and friendly staff. Not half bad for the price we paid! We had an excellent stay.

Hotel Everest has your basic needs for a simple stay in Rome. It is a five minute walk from Termini (the train station), down Cavour, so that is convenient. The hotel is on the third floor of the building, so that was different. Take the elevator to the third floor if there are only two of you because no one... More

We have just returned from a great trip to Rome, staying at the Hotel Everest 1. We've stayed at a budget hotel in the city before so we sort of knew what to expect and we weren't disappointed. The location is excellent for people arriving at Termini train station/bus from Ciampino airport as it's no more than 5 mins walk... More
