Staff were so friendly and helpful-rooms spotless, really convenient to transport and not that far away that you couldn't walk to all the main attractions anyway.Only criticism was we were in room in garden area which was lovely setting but a tad small and could do with more natural light.

Good and friendly staff, a very Italian atmosphere, clean rooms, adequate breakfast buffet , nice location;these didn't suffice to make a very good impression to us.We were given two rooms in the ground floor in the garden area. These rooms were much smaller in comparison to the main building rooms. We often heard the TV humming form the adjacent rooms,... More

I stayed in a room here with my mother and my aunt and uncle also stayed at the hotel. We loved the location of this hotel - very close to Termini - and felt it was a safe and quiet neighbourhood. Compared to other cities, Rome isn't really so big and we did a lot of walking while we were... More

Initially I was by myself for a night before I met my family. When I stayed single the room was not much bigger than the bed, if you suffer from claustrophobia you would freak out. When I was in the family room that was much better and there was plenty of room considering what they say about European hotels. Breakfast... More

We booked through the hotel and received an upgrade to a more spacious room on arrival, free Internet and were able to check in early which was great. It was very easy to find from termini, and we got the terravision bus to and from the airport which was cheap and hassle free. The area isn't the greatest, there are... More

You can see in the picture how small the room is. It works fine if you are there one night. Several nights and two suit cases later, well, its crowded. Our room was quiet as it was facing a small garden. The hotel is also on a quiet side street. Breakfast was good for the price. The staff were very... More

On our second morning in this hotel in August 2011 my wife went to close the shower door and it fell off its track and shattered. My wife received cuts to her hands and feet. It had work perfectly the day before. The hotel staff quickly attended to the problem however the manager made comment that we would be charged... More

We enjoyed our three nights at Astoria Gardens. Our twin bed room was clean, quiet and looked over the garden setting. Breakfast was very nice with a good variety of food. Good places to eat are within a few blocks of hotel...plus a nice gelato shop. Having Termini Rail & metro stations 5-10 min. away was convenient. For our cruise,... More
