Hotel Nazionale was a very good option for a weekend-break in Rome. The nearest metro station was about five minutes walk from the hotel, and it was pretty easy to get to the hotel from the airport. We just booked in advance a shuttle from airport. However, if you arrive late at night I highly recommend to take a taxi.... More

We stayed here from the 5th -9th March for our honeymoon, As we booked through Thomsons we were given a complimentary bottle of Prosecco whic was delivered to the room as soon as we checked in, which was a lovely start to our holiday. We had a lovely room on the 4th floor with great views across the city of... More

You really couldn't ask for a better location. As Rome is a very walkable city, it is imperative that your hotel is centrally located if you wish to take a break from sightseeing during the day. Check-in was simple and they gratuitously upgraded us to a room facing the back on the 5th floor. It was perfect- a very comfortable... More

Arriving after a self imposed frantic rush to the airport (parking car at 4.10 for a 4.50 flight - still needing to check in) fearing this was going to be the mother of all disastrous trips from hell, we were met by one of natures gentle-men, Patrick. He quickly checked us in and gave us a lovely spacious room overlooking... More

I have stayed in many hotels in Rome on business and as a rule the staff have been really good but they really were exceptional at this hotel. The rooms were very clean and comfortable; breakfast great. Unfortunately a party of rugby fans were staying for one of the nights I was there and I had some idiot banging on... More

The best thing the hotel has to recommend to it is location: you are central and getting around is really, really easy. However, the hotel itself does little to deserve its "official" 4-star rating; it seems to be doing things OK but not really getting the details down that make some hotel stays magical. Little things, like decent coffee at... More

This hotel is very well situated in the Piazza Colona just off Via di Corso. Warm welcome from staff. . Continental breakfast excellent. Public rooms spacious and comfortable. Wi-fi not free is my only gripe and €10 a day is a bit rich. I will stay here again on my next trip to Rome

Stazyed there in April 2011 for a congress, arrival was a bit tough because i wasnt prepared for the cobblestones, but soon I fount out why everyone is wearing training shoes in Rome. Got a room on the top floor, which was obviously built later on top of the hotel, wasnt too stylish from utside but provided and asonishing view... More

Staff was friendly and helpful. Perfect location, just few minutes from the main shopping street Via del Corso. Around 30-40 minutes from Vatican. There are lots of restaurants around offering extensive menus for good prices. The room was beautiful with a very comfortable bed and a view over the square. Breakfast very good.
