We recently stayed at the Nazionale for four nights and had a wonderful experience. The room was large, clean and the staff was absolutely fantastic and helpful. The location is perfect for checking out all the sights in Rome and there is a great gelato place just around the corner!

Stayed for 6 nights in April 2012. Good location, right by the police station and government building. Big rooms, comfy bed and $15 unlimited movie promo was good; 24 hours. Downfall breakfast room was always busy and wifi for only an hour a day. Able to walk everywhere.

We were a family of four and booked two hotel rooms. One had been renovated and the other had not. The rooms were the same cost and came with breakfast. My advise is to request a renovated room. However, I don't think you'll be disappointed either way. The location is wonderful. We walked to all the sites with ease.
