Clearly a 2 star tired hotel. In a dingy part of town. Drab interior. Thin walled, spartan, cheap, and tacky. It wouldn't be as offensive if it didn't try and sell itself as a 4 star hotel. Included breakfast was utterly revolting. Stale bread, stale warm cheese, mixed powdered cordial juice, powdered egg and fake bacon. Just revolting. There is... More

Stayed at this hotel three nights in October 2011 with a tour group. We should have known when we saw the property was "gated" that it was not going to be one of our better adventures. The rooms reminded me of my college days living in a high-rise dorm in Boston. The only partial salvation was that the food was... More

On my second trip to Rome, I decided to stay off the beaten path and selected the Princess Hotel. It's farther from central Rome, but within a few minutes by car to the Vatican. The hotel staff was marvelous. We arrived very early in the morning from an international flight and only had to wait about 20 minutes for them... More

No. No. NO. It was first and the last time I stay in that hotel. Old furniture, airconditioner out of order, breakfast miserable, far from Metro (appr. 20 minutes on foot). Far away fron city center. Internet are not available, No printer to print necessy documents. Keep away from this hotel. Old hotel of Year 1980, probable to that time... More

This hotel is outside the city, but is very quiet and convenient to the city. It has a wonderful restaurant that is economical and the food and service are great. The rooms are spacious and not as small as British rooms.

Why do you want to stay in a hotel in the outskirts of Rome? clean rooms, quiet location and cheaper fares. Well, The Princess is located in a quiet area but you don't get a clean room. The rooms are outdated and if you don't have a car then it is pretty hard to get there. Want to go to... More

Promoted as a 4 star (or similar) hotel by my travel agency in Stoneham, MA, it was more like a 2 star, old Holiday Inn more suited for a college dorm The rooms were small and stark, the lighting was very dim and the food was terrible. Could not pay the Rome tax with credit card (only cash). Located in... More

This Hotel wasnt too bad. The Rooms were icy cold, thankfully as it was very Hot in Rome. The aircon was quite noisy and a unit that sat in the window, kind of kept you awake at night. The Hotel Lobby was amazingly nice and cosy. Like sitting in your own loungeroom. Hotel staff were nice. One of the restaurant... More
