Have just returned from my fourth visit to Rome and my second stay at Casa Sant'Anna. Its a perfect place to stay for solo travelers because of the very reasonable curfew and security in place. The Convent is spotlessly clean and at this price (50 euro per night) having your own bathroom is amazing. The breakfast is minimal but if... More

Very clean with good simple furnishings. Helpful staff. Some rooms are hot in summer. Location is perfect for tourists.

Our family of four stayed in two doubles in late June, 2011. The convent is SPOTLESSLY clean and the location is fabulous, just a couple of minutes from the Colosseum, but you still feel like you're not in "tourist-central". The hotel is not air-conditioned and there are no ceiling fans, so it was a little warm, but fine with the... More

We were pleased with these very basic accomodations. They would work for women traveling alone or couples. Ukranian sisters manage the convent, very little English is spoken but really isn't a problem. Rooms were basic but clean and acceptable. Convent is on a square that can have a lot of noise. Breakfast was rolls, jelly, cheese and either coffee, tea... More

I stayed there for three days, in november, I had inside room so, fortunately, it was silent. The zone around is AWFULLY CAOTIC! But, this place could not be called HOTEL, only because there is reception, because there are the rooms with the bathroom.......It's too poor for being called HOTEL. Anyway, for whome needs a quite clean place, near to... More

Well priced convent (50 euro per night) lodgings with great location in Rome, walking distance to colosseum and other roman ruins. The train station is about a five minute walk away and the train (metro) easily takes you to the centre of rome and all other attractions. A number of places to eat nearby. Price per night included breakfast which... More

Simple, clean, quiet, and convenient. Wonderful also having the Church attached to the lodging. No complaints at all. Will certainly look to stay here again next trip to Rome.

I stayed here with my daughter and sister. The room seemed nice enough but it was very hot. We were on the second floor and opened our windows to get some air circulation. During the night someone climbed in our window and robbed us while we were sleeping.

The perfect place to stay for a budget-conscious female travelling alone! The sisters and staff are friendly and welcoming, the rooms are clean and bright, and the curfew is midnight - much later than most convents. The breakfast is a bit skimpy (rolls and jam, juice, tea, instant coffee), but if you plan to enjoy the real Rome you'll have... More

great location. However, rooms on the outside have a high level of noise due to busy square. not autos, but people at wine bars, polictical groups, local families and just people sitting around by the outside fountain, A great place to enjoy a slice of the real Rome Rooms are becoming tired because they are not being looked after by...
