We have just returned from a very enjoyable four night stay in this lovely hotel. This was our third time to stay at this hotel. We had a beautiful room overlooking the little piazza at Largo del Pallaro. The windows and shutters in the bedroom block out all street noise and light which enabled us to sleep extremely well. The... More

Very good warm staff. Thanks to Simona who was an excellent hostess and able to share much about Rome with us. Vincenzo, the night clerk was very affable as well. The room is clean, not a great view (we saw the central part of the hotel) but since all we were doing was sleeping there, it was perfect for our... More

I really enjoyed our stay in this hotel, I only wish we were there longer! We stayed in the Annex building, which was not a problem at all; its just a few steps from the main hotel. The room was clean and very comfortable, and the service was excellent. Plus you eat breakfast in the remains of Pompey's theater which... More

Rooms are fairly spacious. Free wifi. Safe in room. Right next to Campo di fiori. Take the regional train from FCO to Trastevere and then catch the #8 tram to Largo Argentina for 8 Euros as of May 2012 if you don't have a lot of luggage. Breakfast is included and quite good (pastries, protein, juices, etc) .

We've just had 5 super days in Rome with this hotel as our base. Initially, it was a little difficult to find, but when we did the staff were really friendly, helpful and kind. They tolerated me trying out my (very poor!) Italian but could, of course, speak English fluently (and French, and ....). They asked what we wanted to... More

My boyfriend and I were spending a long weekend in Rome for a friend's 50th and the rugby. We found this hotel to be excellent in all respects - The hotel felt quite traditional - simple, without any frills, but clean and with everything you would expect from a hotel. The staff were immensely friendly and the continental breakfasts were... More

We stayed at the Teatro for a long weeknd, Thurs - Mon. The staff are all tremendously welcoming and helpful. The night concierge couldn't have been more friendly when we arrived. The rooms are large and beds comfortable. It was the coldest time in Rome and our room was warm. Partsare a little tired, this lent to the charm of... More

WE stayed in this hotel for our honeymoontrip tot Rome. The location is really downtown and very accessible by public transport, taxis or (preferably!) by foot. But be aware: all these lovely narrow streets are NOT easy to walk on on your high heels! So bring your stylish but comfy shoes.... I was surprised that despite the professional attitude the... More

We stayed here on our initial trip to Itlay in 05 and were concerned that this little gem could not replicate our fantastic experience....our concerns were without merit! If anything, our 6 day stay was more enjoyable as we were able to interact with the staff a bit more. Paolo and Simone were very helpful and kind. The rooms are... More

With only 12 rooms you are beeing taken care off in a personally way from the staff. And with only 2 minutes from Piazza de Fiori, you can start the tourist walk right ouside the door. Since there are some noise between the floors (steps, not voices), ask for the 3 rd floor.
