We had made our booking drectly with the hotel months in advance and ha also mentioned that we were on honeymoon. Before we arrive, we asked whether a shuttle could collect us from the train station but were told that this was not possible and that we should take the bus. After carting our heavy luggage around the city on... More

The hotel entrance is one of the most inconspicous I have ever seen, with just a tiny brass sign announcing that this is the entrance to a hotel... And the smallest and cutest elevator I have ever seen also! Very welcoming staff who have assisted us in any way possible, from the arrival and check-in, breakfast serving and all the... More

CONDITIONS OF STAY: - 4 night stay in November of 2008 - 2nd trip to Rome - Reason for trip: Vacation FIRST IMPRESSIONS: As others of noted, the Piazza Cavour/Sant' Angelo area is easy to reach by public transportation. However, the hotel is a 3 to 5-minute walk from any drop-off point and with rolling luggage, this is not a... More

This hotel canceled our room reservations, last minute ... simply because they could apparently get more $$ for our room. So don't plan on them honoring your reservation or on having a room ready on your Rome arrival.

This hotel could not be in a better location. Only 10 minute stroll to the Vatican, 10 minutes to Trevi Fountain and Metro station and 20 minutes to the Colosseum. The rooms were spacious, bright and clean with everything you need for your stay. The breakfast was excellent, fresh with something for everyone. We took our parents for my Father's... More

I was due to have a relatively complicated holiday in Rome. My girlfriend was to stay with me for four nights, a friend two and I would stay five. We started in a double room, my friend stayed in a single for one night, girlfriend left and he moved in. I asked if it could be switched to a twin... More

"Hotel staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The hotel was walking distance to every attraction and the location was perfect. It wasn't noisy or too busy and when we asked the staff for a kettle in our room, it wasn't standard but they got us one immediately anyway. They were helpful in telling us directions and ordering us a... More

Just returned from 4 nights in Rome. Stayed in Hotel Sant Angelo and what a wonderful location. 5 minutes from the Airport shuttle bus stop. 15 minutes from Piazza Navone, 10 minutes from Vatican City. Brilliant. It was 5 mins from the Tiber and we were easily able to navigate Rome using the River as our guide. The hotel was... More

Great location for seeing Vatican and area. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is ok ,not gourmet but enough to keep you going. Rooms are basic no frills, fine for a short stay when you're out and about. Overall good value for money, good location ideal for weekend break.
