My 12-year old daughter and I stayed here with my parents (who have stayed at this hotel for many years) in April 2011. I t was a great location within walking distance and/or cab rides to many places. The front desk staff was superb and very tolerant of our attempts at speaking Italian (they do speak impeccable English). One suggestion... More

My wife and I spent one night at this hotel after a Mediterranean cruise. Without knowing the city of Rome well, we were searching for something safe and in a central location. This hotel met both of our goals, and had a few extra very nice perks. Location: La Residenza is located in a beautiful, upscale neighborhood. Very safe. It... More

We stayed at La Residenza the second week of August, 2011. There were three adults in our party. We could not have been happier with the hotel. The entire staff was cordial, extremely helpful, and totally professional. Dinner recommendations perfectly matched our needs and desires. Our room was exceptionally large (we had a triple) and nicely decorated; the beds were... More

We returned to La Residenza this summer for our fourth visit and we still love the place. While the rooms cannot be described as modern in decor, they are spacious and comfortable with excellent air conditioning and all the amenities one could want. We understand that the hotel is soon to undergo a major remodeling, and we look forward to... More

Beautiful hotel, convenient to Barberina metro station. Staff very nice and courteous. Only two small gripes, the lift was far too small and the bathroom was unbelievably warm and stuffy, we couldnt work out how to turn off the radiators. We stayed for 2 nights after our cruise and had a 2 bedroom suite with a rooftop terrace, so we... More

We wanted to see the galleries in the Villa Borghese and this hotel is only a few minutes walk away. It is also close to the Metro station (Barberini). Apart from the lap dancing establishments across the street, it is well located for seeing much of the tourist sites. The rooms are dated but feel quite plush with very high... More

We arrived late afternoon in Rome feeling very tired but we were so close to some of the major sights that we couldn't help but explore the city. And I fell in love! The hotel also offered a beautiful sitting area, free wi fi, bar service and the most sumptuous breakfast I've seen in a while. While the room was... More

Very beautiful hotel and amazing service... great breakfast... overall, a very good value for Rome. Subway is close although we mostly walked. Was one of Frommer's Best moderate price hotel. they deserve it! You will be treated like royalty... with slippers by your bed... looks and feels very high end.

My wife, adult son and I stayed at this wonderful hotel for a total of 5 nights before and after visiting Positano on the Amalfi Coast. What a special place! Vincenza and his colleague concierges were incredibly helpful! No matter what we asked them, they went out of their way to ensure we received the help we were in need... More
