Can't recommend the hotel enough. Very well located, staff very polite and friendly. Rooms comfortable, everything worked, liked the addition of the hair dryer. Towels changed daily. Breakfast more than adequate. Would certainly stay there again.

Highlight the care of Mr. Massimo. It was really helpful to us, always good humored and receptive. Gave us good tips and information. Great bed and pillows!!! Sheet white and clean. But, Towels are very thin. Wood floor. Has no carpet!! Good breakfast.

Simple and cozy The hotel is very well located, it is near the Trajan´s Forum and many other sights of Rome which can be visited on foot. The rooms are clean and warm. People are friendly and always willing to help. Really worth staying there.

The rooms are extremely tiny, even though it was breakfast included it was only bread and coffee when asked about orange juice they brought me this red koolaid, they promoted free wifi, which was never working, it is located at a shady neighborhood and the worst was their service, front desk is horrible, will never stay there again.

Dear Mrs Quintero, We are very sorry that your staying in our Hotel was so unpleasant. Anyway advices of any kind are greatly appreciated. The sizes of the rooms are indicative of the typical European three-star hotel and in this case specifically their historic origins, this is not yesterday’s just built Holiday Inn. Furthermore your reservation was for a ROH... More

The Felici family, which runs the Tirreno, makes sure the hotel lives up to their name (the name means "happy" in Italian). Several members of the family always seem to be around to tend to any need you might have, from calling a cab to a late-night espresso. One morning when I came down before the breakfast room was open... More

Stayed here for 3 nights. It definitely falls into the hidden gem category of budget hotels. It's in a great location convenient for sightseeing and only a 10 minute walk from Termini rail station. Easy to find, just head for the church of Santa Maria Maggiore and it's just round the next corner in a cobbled side street. This makes... More

And also be ready to sleep on cheap and unhealthy mattress; wake up from noise of the water from neighboor toilette, expeirence dejavu at breakfast if your stay more than a day; and to meet rude personel. IMHO, Tirreno hotel is NOT value-for-money option. We managed to find much better hotel that has the same price and is located near... More

This hotel is near to everything! The small street it is located makes the feeling of Rome very authentic! The hotel is wheelchair friendly. There is one step at the entrance and one inside. There is a bell outside, the staff is always eager to help. The elevator is spacious. The room for disabled is fully equipped and quite big.... More

Five of us stayed at this hotel for two days and had an excellent experience. The location was superb, staff very helpful and friendly, and accomodation very good. It had easy access to all the sites as also the Termini rail station. The hotel had arranged airport pickup for us in a large car at a reasonable cost. The complimentary... More
