I've read over the reviews here before and after my family's 7 day stay last summer. There were 9 of us in 3 rooms (have you ever tried to find 3 triple rooms?) This was the 'trip of a lifetime', my son and niece graduated and my parents decided to splurge. The trip was AMAZING! Again, there were NINE of... More

Great size bedroom/bathroom, good staff, excellent breakfast buffet(but get it included at E30 pp) good entrance area, good spot for transport links at 3 minutes for Metro/tourist bus or even closer for local bus. Thats the plus side The furniture is somewhat dated, not what you would expect in a 5 star(furnishings 3 star, size of rooms 5 star, drink... More

10min walk from termini train station (€14 single from airport) or right by metro (€1 from termini) fantastic location, walking distance to spanish steps and Trevi fountain both max 10min walk. Room decor is a bit dated but is the shabby chic you would expect in Italy, would rate as a 3/4 star on uk standards. Breakfast is continental and... More

We stayed here for a long weekend recently, having booked through lastminute.com's "top secret hotels". The public areas of the hotel are very grand, and the staff are very helpful and attentive, although as mentioned elsewhere a couple of drinks in the bar will set you back 20 euros! WiFi internet in the public areas worked well - it's wired... More

Was very disappointed with this hotel. First impressions were that it looked great. The room I had was big with lots of space. However, the windows didn't quite close properly ( okay the building is old) but all you hear all night was the rather loud hum of the air con units outside the window and, the occasional noise of... I visited this hotel with my wife for our anniversery and was not dissappointed in any way. Some other reviewers seem to have been disappointed with the decor of the hotel but in my view it was furnished in keeping with the building, the parts which had to be modern e.g. the bathrooms where. All the staff were very frindly... More

Stayed here in May, 2012 for a City break booked through Lastminute.com. The location of the Hotel is superb, in the Veneto area, home to Banks, Embassies and quality areas.Close walking distance to Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain and buses stop nearby with regular service to all City destinations. The Hotel is grand, or was in it's heyday. Now it... More

The hotel is "sold" to be a five starsL and the price you pay for it can make you think that you will find the luxury you were looking for. The entrance is nice and unfortunately misleading..rooms are average rooms, big and clean, but very old furnitures, old not precious ancient ones, so not really nice to stay in. The... More

Never have I stayed in a 5* hotel like this. It should be a 2*. I read reviews and thought it would be ok. It has nothing that a 5* hotel should have. Awful furniture, bed, dated decor, mold in the bathroom. No water in the room, no face tissues, huge old TV with no English speaking channels, bad, bad,... More
