We along, with some close friends returned for two nights to a very cold and snowy Rome to the Intercontinental. Its location at the top of the Spanish Steps is perfect for getting around, the shops and the Metro. We arrived at the hotel early, our Roomss were ready and we received upgrades based on my Intercontinental Ambassador status. Indeed... More

Hotel is at the top of the Spanish stairs.Well located near the center of Rome and the Villa Borgehse. Excellent restaurant, good service, somewhat old style furniture in good rooms. Prices in the laungh are too high. Good breakfast. Nearby restaurant is Casa Copelle,at the Piazza delle Coppelle near the Pantheon, new place, good kitchen, good related prices. Visit Villa... More

The Hotel is really on an amazing location, close to almost every single mayor site in rome, but... for me being a Royal Ambassador the experience was not as great as It has been on every other single Intercontinental Hotel I have been, and because of these I decided after returning to rome to go to another hotel. The staff... More

Stayed here last night on business. Excellent hotel and staff. Very nice front lobby and attentive staff. Two things that stand out are the location and breakfast. Both outstanding. It couldn't have a more convenient location. Yards from Spanish steps and Metro. Within a minute of walking out door u can start your Rome experience. And the favbulous breakfast starts... More

This hotel is at the top of the Spanish Steps, next to the Hassler Hotel. The entrance and lobby are fairly ordinary, but the room we had facing the courtyard was gorgeous. This was, I believe, a standard room. Lovely furnishings, beautiful bathroom, wonderful outlook to the central courtyard. The staff were all very very friendly and helpful. The restaurant... More

As far as location, this can't be beat - right next door to the Hassler Hotel, and seconds from the Spanish Steps and all the shopping your heart can desire. We joined Priority Club and were able to get a free weekend night, upgrade, and free breakfast. We had a two room suite with a balcony for our family of... More

We had a suite with a massive balcony looking over Rome, another room booked by centurion. When we where being shown the room, they mentioned the stone leading to balcony was 100s of years old... So that was pretty amazing. Hotel was a little tired in relation to amenities, being at the top of the Spanish stairs and viewing from... More

A three night business trip saw me arrive at the intercontinental de la Ville at around midnight. Although pretty much closed the bar staff went out of their way to see that I was fed and watered –it was a much appreciated, great no fuss service. The room was tiny, looking at the fire escape map suggested that room 531... More

The ideal location and venue for a fairy tale wedding..... This hotel has loads to offer those looking for something special!! I'm Irish and my husband is Italian from Rome. I was looking for something different particularly for those travelling from Ireland and wanted a venue based in the city centre. We checked out a couple of places and finally... More

The Hotel is centrally located right at the top of the Spanish Steps, two minutes to the main shopping street. The triple room was big enough for 2 adults + 1 child. In my opinion it was a little too hot in the room but maybe somebody likes it. Our bathroom was a good size with the window to the... More
