We had a marvelous suite upgrade due to some terrace construction, so we had a wonderful full view of Rome from the 6th floor. All staff were wonderful and helpful. The hotel gets pretty stuffy if you don't arrange some extras ahead of time....such as Internet , and breakfast charges. Get those included before you go. If you eat the... More

We stayed at the Hassler for 3 nights in Rome in March. We had a deluxe room at the back of the hotel. The room was of good size and decorated in a tradition style. It appears to be an older room. The view of the balcony looks onto the side of the Trinità dei Monti. Two complimentary bottles of... More

Beautiful suite. The restaurant justifies is status. Simply stunning food and service, with a view to die for. Our room was equally fabulous, lots of marble and gold in true over the top Italian style. Airport transfer by hotel limousine was friendly and graceful. Consierge helpful. Garden terrace a little dull and the rooftop pool not the best. But overall the... More

Still one of the grand old hotels of Europe. Luxurious and elegant. We booked through Amex Centurion and had a beautifully renovated (though a bit small) room with a balcony looking out over all of Rome. Service is understated and exquisite. If you remember and appreciate the good old days you will like it here. If you want trendy modern... More

This hotel is simply amazing! Staff is very courteous and always smiling. Room was very well appointed. Wireless Internet worked great for me. The location is THE BEST in Rome hands down. It is expensive but well worth it! If you can afford it I wouldn't think twice about it. The atmosphere brings you back a hundred years although the... More

Very responsive reception staff, great location, great coffee in room service and concierge staff also excellent. The major glitch is worst internet access ever in a major five star hotel. Dial-up would have been far more useful thsn the frustration and valuable time is money wasting intermittent internet service. If you are a business person who uses the web, I... More

I was visiting Rome last weekend and stayed at the Intercontinental on top of the Spanish Steps... really very mediocre with horrible service. Bad bar but fortunately the hotel is next to the Hassler Hotel so we went into their bar which is just fabulous - very "old Europe".... dark wood, well-appointed, charming servers. Have never stayed at the hotel... More

The hotel has one of the best location in Rome, and looks very elegant and sophisticated from the entrance... If you look on their site you will see gorgeous suites, rooms with a beautiful modern design...but they have only few of them and unfortunately are available only for the russians or celebrities ! It doesn't matter if you pay 700euro... More
