In every respect this is an outstanding hotel. It's situation is ideal for anyone wanting to visit Rome - next to the Pantheon and within easy walking distance of all the main sites and excellent restaurants. The staff are delightful and extremely professional. Within an hour of our arrival, each receptionist knew not only our names, but our room number.... More

Quite a while ago I fell in love with Rome and about one and half year ago, at my first visit to the Albergo del Senato I also fell in love with this hotel. I guess it says a lots that I've been back 3 times after that. The location is just the best. You can walk to most of... More

It just seems like in Rome, there are tourists everywhere! we even went to Trastavere and it was full of them! Ok, so are we :) BUT we like to see the real life of locals when we do travel. Not in Rome, it just seems like too many amazing historical sites close to each other and not really any... More

Must be best hotel in Rome! Outstanding location. One room overlooking the piazza was beautiful, other triple room fine. Roof terrace with stunning views. Delightful staff. Excellent breakfast. Will be back.

We stayed on recommendation of relatives and it was excellent. For same price as vastly inferior hotels, we were pleased with every aspect of our experience. First, the location is excellent right across the Pantheon...could not be better. Second, they upgraded us (without being asked) and we had a terrific room on the side (quiet) with views of the Pantheon... More

I have just returned from a city break in Rome staying in this beautiful hotel. The hotel is similar to a boutique style hotel in an amazing location opposite the Pantheon. It is elegantly decorated and very clean. However the one thing that stood out for me was the staff. Their levels of customer service were exceptional. They always made... More

the bartender, song and dance man and defender of the rooftop terrace from the barbarians (pigeons). By now you have plowed through all of these 5 star reviews and probably have the notion that Albergo del Senato is a decent place to stay while in Rome. Everything said about the location, the staff and general fit and finish of the... More

Albergo del Senato is a great hotel in a perfect location next to the Pantheon in the centre of Rome. The staff are excellent -- and very happy to provide knowledgable and up to date advice on good places to eat, of which there are many close by. The hotel has a fantastic roof terrace bar, open in the evenings... More

We have stayed at this hotel a number of times and it is the only hotel we would stay in when visiting Rome. If you have a room overlooking the Pantheon, it is a marvellous experience and indeed, when entering or leaving the hotel you feel as though you are in a very special place. It is very centrally located... More

The location is superb! A stone throw away from the pantheon. All you need is a good pair of walking shoes and you can walk to most of the major sights like the Trevi fountain, the Spanish steps, numerous museums, palaces, piazzas and even the Vatican City. The Colosseum is just 3 subways stop from Piazza Spagna. And you’ll never... More
