Corinne, Lyn, and rest of staff were extremely helpful for finding my way around town and the location was ideal (next to Termini station) for someone who wanted to go all over Rome. Hotel was perfectly clean and made for a comfortable night's sleep. Breakfast was good, but doesn't start until 8:30. The lack of an elevator wasn't an issue... More

This hotel's staff was great. Corrine, Lyn, Reymond and Alexandria did everything in their power to make my stay pleasant and comfortable. They went over the top in trying to help with any request I made. Such people make a hotel a home.

A short walk from Termini Rail and Coach station which has direct link to FCO airport. Our room was on the 1st floor with double bed, bathroom with full bath, sink and bidet. FREE Wi Fi in the room. Hairdryer and safety deposit box. Constant hot water and radiators in the bedroom and bathroom. Breakfast available for 5 euro extra... More

I booked the hotel via LateRooms in January 2012 and got a really good deal compared to the price of other hotels in Rome. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from Termini station which was great. If you wanted to walk into the centre (Pantheon, Trevi Fountain area) it took about 20 minutes, but you could also get... More

Walking distance to Termini (Rome's main train station) and therefore all other forms of transport and destinations, the hotel location is hard to beat. And despite the fact that train station areas are never the most pleasant nor quiet, Alexis is situated in a tranquil street with minimal noise. Our room was large and had character, and the bathroom in... More

Hotel Alexis is literally at 5min walk from Roma Termini, unbeatable location if you don't wanna carry your luggage for long. The hotel is simple and comfortable, great for low budget travelers like myself. Includes a modest breakfast which will help you start the day. The best of this hotel is its front desk assistant Corine. She'll go out of... More

The room did not have air conditioning. The attendants said that for 5 euros a night they could turn the air on. When we said ok, the attendant informed that in reality the a/c did not work. The hotel refused to fix the a/c, or provide a fan. We had to walk Rome with suitcases looking for a hotel after... More

We arrived in Rome without any booking in advance. I was told it was risky and that Rome is fully booked in september. It is true. Once there, started looking for a place to stay and visited around 15 hotels, bed and breakfasts and guesthouses nearby Termini. Compared to what I saw in the other ones, the prices I heared,...
