A small but wonderful hotel that is maybe a 5 minute walk to the Vatican. Very friendly, helpful staff and plenty of small restaurants within a 2 block area. 10 steps out the door and you can have an early morning cappuccino and pastry. Our bathroom was huge, bedroom was small but very comfortable bed and closet space. The patio... More

We spent seven nights at the Vatican View this month, along with friends. We arrived tired from a red-eye flight and had no difficulty finding the hotel. Check-in is next door to the hotel, but the great staff, Fabio, Alessandra, Daniel and Francesca keep a sharp eye out arriving guests. Our rooms were all ready for check- in and we were... More

This was our first stay in Rome (on our honeymoon). The rooms were new, very roomy and spacious, and the bathroom was superb (rain shower equipped!). The location is a little away from central Rome, but only 10 mins walk from the train station. The downsides are that there is no iron available, they do offer a wash and drying... More

Really strange set up. Not really a hotel as such. Reception is in the converted 'shop' next door but nowhere tells you this, there are no signs outside, just a small plaque on the black front door so finding it is a challenge. If you accidently get in through the front door to the rooms (normally kept locked) you have... More

This hotel is literally 100m from the Vatican. We were upgraded to a superior room with a huge bathroom. Couldn't have been better. There is some street noise if you leave your window open. The staff was very friendly and helped anyway they could. If you are debating on whether or not to book this hotel, do it now. You... More

We just spent 4 nights with the Vatican View. We are a family of four so we booked two rooms. The hotel was just what we wanted. We prefer to eat out for breakfast and dinner, so we dont need all the usual hotel trimmings. All we need is a comfortable clean bed with decent bathroom. The Vatican View has... More

I just left Rome and stayed at this hotel. It was literally less than 100 yards from the Vatican. Shopping was a couple blocks down the street for boutiques and a grocery store. A couple quaint cafes are nearby- I recommend going to the one across from the Vatican wall just across the street and to the left. Rooms were... More

Superb visit. Really a suite with twin beds - bathroom and kitchen area. Spacious with excellent design features in furnishing. Very helpful staff and superb roof terrace with genuine views to St Peters Square etc. We booked early and thought 370 Euros for 3 nights to be very good value. Transport to anywhere in the city is first class. We... More

The hotel is situated in a very good location which helps you to visit Vatican, Sixteen Chapel and many other nice places. The rooms are smaller than how they look like in presentation, but still nice and clean. The hotel has a wonderful terrace on the roof where you can enjoy the view and the wine.....

The Vatican View is, as you would expect, a stone's throw from the Vatican and in a perfect location for exploring the city. It was also well located for my business meetings in the Prati district and for the restaurants and nightlife of Trastevere. The hotel appears to be a recently refurbished apartment building and has kitchenettes on each floor... More
