My sister and I spent a week here and it was incredible. Lovely room, unbelievable location, great breakfast and wonderful Alvin, Igor and Sarah who made us feel like old friends. I can't recommend this place too highly.

My fiance and I stayed here for 2 nights post cruise in April 2013. We like finding unusual properties to stay at and the Torre Colonna fitted the bill perfectly being a converted medieval tower! We stayed in room 2, the Yellow Room... we communicated with the hotel prior to checking in as we would be getting here relatively early... More

My colleagues and I stayed in this great hotel for 4 Nights in April and we were very satisfied, especially with the staff! Sara, the owner was very helpful and very friendly. We could ask her for help with anything from booking tickets to the opera to restaurant recommendations. Igor and Alvin (staff) were just lovely! Always smiling, always ready... More

My husband and I stayed here for three nights during our honeymoon earlier this month. We stayed in room 2 (the "yellow" room) with a big bathroom with jacuzzi tub and a walk in closet. The room was lovely, as was the roof top terrace. The best part of this hotel, however, was the customer service. At one point, we... More

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights on our honeymoon. It’s quite a unique set-up, in a converted Medieval tower. There’s one room on each floor, and a great roof terrace with views across the city. The Jacuzzi up on the terrace is an added bonus, too – great for chilling out after walking miles around all the... More

My husband and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary in April with 3 days in Paris, 2 days in Rome and a 10 day Mediterranean cruise. The 2 days in Rome were the highlight of our trip because of our stay at Rezidenza Torre Colonna. Sarah, the lovely owner, helped us celebrate with a bottle of Champagne which we took... More

Location is perfect especially if it is your first trip to Rome. Hotel facilities, cleanliness, breakfast are excellent. There is PC station in the room, coffee and tee facilities, mini bar. Fresh orange juice at breakfast was immaculate as well as all the food. What makes the place special are people who run it. Any favour, each advice, every room... More

Stayed here for my husbands 50th birthday. Our son LOVED the jacuzzi. Really warm welcome, hotel very clean and staff could not be more helpful. Alvin even walked us round to the restaurant to make sure we got in. Great location, could walk to all the main attractions. The only down side (and no fault of the hotel) was a... More

We stayed here after a transatlantic cruise. We were warmly welcomed and room was ready before the site time says. It was very quaint and lovely. Had an elevator yet had to climb stairs to terrance for breakfast yet very much worth it! Looking at Rome from the roof! WOW. Our room was great and quiet even though we learned... More
