A great place to stay when in Rome. This apartment is within walking distance of several major attractions, including the Vatican, Coliseum, Forum, and for the energetic sightseer, Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, and Navrone. Travestere itself offers the vacationer a glimpse of a multi-cultural environment, interesting shops, night life, street performers, an occasional morning accordion player, and restaurants ranging...

Pluses: Serenella was great--she provided information about restaurants, oriented us to the neighbourhood, and booked a car to the airport for us. La Paglia is a small studio, but has a large and most comfortable bed and modern bathroom. The apt has a cheerful decor and is very clean. It is conveniently located on one of the smaller lanes.

La Paglia is in a great location in Trastevere. The street is small and quiet and about 2 blocks from the Santa Maria square. They have many great reastaurants all within a couple of blocks including the great gelato place Fior di Luna. The "james bond" kitchen was great and the bed was so comfortable. I don't think I've slept...

Plenty of storage and hot water with good water pressure. Invaluable information on arrival which improved our stay, including local restaurants (Roma Sparita is THE place for "Pasta Cacio e Pepe") and shopping, including...

Trastevere is a trendy, lively neighborhood with restarurants and shops everywhere, yet the apartment was very quiet. We found it to be the...

It's 1 1/2 blocks from tons of restaurants and busy streets but on the block the apartment is located, it's quiet. The bed was super comfy and it was really nice to have the large window/door that opened...

I stayed in the La Paglia apartment for a month while I did some research in Rome. I found Trastevere Apartments through a recommendation from the Trastevere Hotel, and I could not have been more pleased! It is a wonderful location in the heart of Trastevere, within walking distance of the Vatican as well as most sites in the Centro...
