After waiting for a bus for over 2 hours, my boyfriend and I realized that we were stranded in Pompei, and needed to find a hotel for the night.

The Villa Laura was perfectly adequate, however the details which make a hotel enjoyable to be in were not present. The bathrooms, particularly showers, were not pleasant to use. We stayed at the hotel in a large group of tourists, and we all recognized that standards for a 3 star are much less strict there, in comparison to Canada.
Excellent 3 stars hotel, with a charming 1920´s facade and warm wood furniture in the inside. Very ample rooms and a complete bathroom. Warm atention and a breakfast full of warm "cornettos" filled with cream or chocolate. Better than one of those breakfast which prevents you from a large walking through the ancient city. 3 blocks from downtown.
