Great location and value for money. Staff was polite and friendly. In the room i found lots of hair on the floor.

We spent just 1 night in Sorrento and we are very glad, that stayed at this nice hotel. Perfect location! Spacious and cozy room, huge balcony with amazing mountan and sea view. We liked everything, thank you!)) greetings from Saint-Petersburg, Inna and Alexey.

During my two night stay I couldn't have been less satisfied. When arriving back in the middle of the afternoon I walked in on the maid shuffling through my backpack. As I slowly walked in I clearly startled the woman and this led to her yelling at me for four minutes in Italian begging me not to tell management. Throughout... More

This is the worst hotel I have come across- the rooms were dis-functional (TV not working, poor lighting, depressing colour schemes, air conditioning not working, slippery shower basin, no creativity the food... the list can be endless). I am a solo traveller as part of this group and I was put in a room that face a white wall, a... More

Hotel Rivage was well located with a great view from the lounge patio and restaurant. The rooms were very clean and spacious with an anti-room between the hallway and the bedroom which ensured you heard no noises or received any light from the corridors. The windows had good shutters ensuring a good "sleep in" in the morning after those inevitable... More

We stayed in one of the really large family rooms which could sleep four and had a nice little balcony with a partial view of the Med.The beds were comfortable with two soft pillows per person (unusual on our trip), and spotlessly clean bathroom with lots of fresh towels. The breakfast was a standard continental with strong coffee - I... More

We were staying at The Bristol, nearby and went to this hotel for lunch on several occasions. Restaurant overlooking bay, either in sun or shade, outside. Service fairly slow but good and food reasonable, especially the snack menu which includes wine or beer for 8.50 euros and no cover charge.

I found the Rivage to be convenient and well priced. Price of beers great and with that view and free snacks, where else would you like to while away and evening. Contrary to other reports, Breakfast was fine, hot drinks excellent. Staff so helpful with our queries and helped us out with a small problem. By only bug bear would... More

The location of the hotel is within easy walking distance of the town centre. We actually arrived by train and was advised by a local it would take us 50 minutes to walk. The actual time is 15 minutes. I have only given the hotel an average rating due to the poor breakfast. The waiters have all the gear white... More

This hotel is a real "local's" secret. The room rates are very reasonable and the hotel itself has many good points including the location (downtown Sorrento), a secure parking lot, indoor and outdoor dining, a full breakfast buffet included in the price of the room, and very comfortable rooms. The shower unit in the bathroom was a bit small but... More
