The room was bigger than we expected and the staff were all very helpful. The pool was nice and breakfast was good, not sure I'd do half board again though the waiters were great and looked after us well. About 10 mins out of town on the bus - will probably stay a bit closer in next time.

Having just got back from hotel villa igea, stunning balcony views albeit above the petrol pumps. Very noisy due to heavy traffic and much bleeping of horns, an italian thing i think. WE have just booked a 7 day stay at this hotel for September 2010. The travel agent was so helpful today getting us fixed up just over budget and now I feel so let down having come home to look it up on trip advisor. I am literally amused by all the complaints abput Villa Igea. Do the authors realize that Villa Igea is not a 5 star hotel ? For the price you get a very good value!
