Altho the hotel was a bit drab it was quiet, comfortable, very clean, and friendly staff, not for those wanting glitz and glamour. It would have been nice to have tea making facilities. Lovely Hotel. Perfect location. Spotlessly clean, great staff. I cannot believe anyone could criticise this hotel, it is great value. The rooms are large and clean. Breakfast was pastries, cakes, biscuits, boiled eggs, toast, different types of bread, yoghurts, fruits, fruit juices, tea/coffee, cereals. We originally booked with Hotel Tourist but our booking was transferred to the Carlton a few days before we arrived due to roadworks causing some sort of problem with the rooms. Just back from spending a week at this hotel and I was truly disappointed. Firstly the hotel is not a four star hotel more like a two star. Had previously been to Sorrento and if it hadn't been for the price hike we would have liked to have gone back to the same hotel, however as the budget wouldn't allow this we settled on the Carlton.
