I come in this hotel quite often and I love its vibe. The rooms are cosy, breakfast served in a terrace, they always serve fresh fruits. The masterpiece is definitely thei balcony facing the Vesuvius and the Naples bay. Central located, family run. U definitely like it!

Stayed in the 3 Star???? Del Corso in Sorrento just last week ( May 7-9) How they got their 3 star rating is the big question. It was dirty and they first put us in a room with no window and then moved us into an unrenovated room on the top floor that was spacious but very strange with a... More

We spent 2 weeks in Italy and found some amazing gems but this is definitely not a place I’d recommend. The location is convenient and there’s a nice terrace but that’s about all it’s got going for it. My single bed was extremely uncomfortable (more like a cot and without a box spring), the towels were thin and discoloured, we... More

We stayed at the Hotel del Corso for five (5) nights in March of 2012 and we were very satisfied with our stay. We were in a Quad room and never felt cramped - the room was very clean. Breakfast was typical Italian fare - rolls, fruit, juice, meat, cheese, cereal, coffee, and tea. We would definitely stay there again... More

I stayed 5 nights in September with my wife at the Hotel del Corso in Sorrento. We chose it mainly because it was in a great location on the Via Corso near Piazza Tasso. We stayed 5 nights in a large comfortable room with a decent bathroom on the back side of the hotel. The room was on the second... More

We stayed there in November. It was a bit cold a night. There was no central heating. One could use air condition but it was not rather convenient. My wife nearly caught a cold while having breakfasts(.It was served on the veranda. ) She had to put on two pullovers and some people were having coats during breakfasts. We stayed... More

Had to laugh at Lizs' review-- I am one of the backpackers. Yep, that's right, I refuse to haul my luggage on trains and up three flights of stairs when traveling Europe. This is a Rick Steve's recommended hotel, so it was probably full of people who travel like Rick and receive his discount. We stayed there in mid November... More

Fortunately we were only booked into this terrible hotel for one night! As our travel agent arranged the accommodation I do not know what we paid for our room. We had a prison blanket on our bed and our bathroom linen was thread bare! I would have thrown it in the bin as it was not even fit to wash... More

The hotel was good over all. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and good, standard European continental breakfast (ham, cheese, yougurt, bread, pastries, cereal, juices and coffee). Location was prime: right on the main street running through Sorrento and only a 5-10 minute walk to the train and bus station--If you don't have tons of luggage, you don't need a taxi, just... More

We had to lug our cases up 4 flights as the lift which only goes to the second floor had broken down, and we were allocated room(cell) 70 on the 4 th floor. Could barely move around the double bed, although there was a nice terrace outside. No fridge- only 3 star hotel we stayed in without one. Asked for... More
