Nice new hotel, easy to get to from highways, without driving through city center. Great place to stop on long trips. Lots of parking, not a crowded area, great seafood restaurants a few blocks away on the beach. Rooms and breakfast were very nice. I stayed here again the next week.

This is a very typical Novotel -- no surprises. I stayed for 5 nights in early spring. The room was large, comfortable and the wifi consistent and reliable if a bit frustrating since it will automatically disconnect you after about 5 minutes of inactivity. The hotel was very nice, rooms amazing, clean with a lot of extras to make your stay more comfortable. However, its location is not great. It is far from the center of Salerno and unless you have a car you will be stuck. There is nothing around the hotel.

Although the hotel is on the outskirts of town, if you have a car the location is not too bad. For a start, there is no problem whatsoever with parking (which is free) and using the sea front or main street or the tangenziale you can get into Salerno quite easily in winter. The Novotel is a bit of a ways from the downtown city center in Salerno but parking is free and the rooms are clean and nice. Good value. Staff was helpful and spoke good English. Near to the ruins at Pastum.
