This was a great place to stay. Close to the city center, but not too close. Staff was very friendly and helped make our stay wonderful. Our room overlooked one of the alleys that was a little bit noisy in the morning if you are a light sleeper.

This hotel has an excellent central location with a convienent underground parking area. We've stayed in three different rooms and all three were okay...but nothing special. Each with there own quirks. The staff is friendly and the included breakfast is the typical Italian spread of meat, yogurt, buns, and cheese...with fresh juice.
Conveniently located in the center of Amalfi town, just a 5 minute walk from the bus station.
Not much in terms of views from the room but the rooms are done up in a traditional fashion, which looks nice. Having said that, the room we stayed in was tiny with no space even for an extra cot if required.

Reach Amalfi, and you're a real hero. But then you will understand, what the paradise is. Unbelievable seaside areas, the resort, that you can imagine and the smell of coffee and cookies in the morning.
And Hotel Amalfi is good enough for exploring the Paradise. It's not the five star, but the coast will complete the stars. Don't worry about...

Will second the comments form other reviewers about the ideal location of this hotel. In town but on a pedestrian side street. The rooms are welcoming and quiet. They have stunning floor tiles and are well appointed. The staff is very helpful. It serves a good continental breakfast with local fruits. It hits the spot. The dining room offers a...

This was our first visit to the Hotel Amalfi but it definitely won't be our last. Paola and the hotel team were so welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and they were more than accommodating with all our requests. The hotel itself is brilliantly situated within the old town of Amalfi literally meters away from all the hustle and bustle...

Hotels are a customer - centred business, and as such, if a customer wants heat in their room in October, it should be available to them However, it is NOT available at the Hotel Amalfi!
We were pleased with our stay here, and will stay here for future visits to the Amalfi coast. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Although I know some Italian, Carmela is fluent in English, and the rest of the staff have passable or better command of English. (I did not get the same vibe as Philomena49 at all; sometimes those...

This Hotel is owner operated and is very central, yet very quiet! It is situated 1 row back from the main street and is reached via a steep flight of stairs! (the Hotel advertises help getting bags up and down!)
Staff was very helpful and efficient and key people could speak a good English. The complimentary in and outdoor roof-top...
