Stayed in this hotel at the end of march 2012 mainly because of the reviews and also because of the deals offered i/e free transport to and from the hotel from airport, if staying 7 nights or more. Paid a bit more for b& b and lunch and evening meal, plus a bit more for wine and water with all... More

My wife and myself booked two weeks from the 14/1/12, the first time we have stayed in this 4 star hotel. The hotel is spotless in every respect, but through NO fault of the Management, the hotel has been badly hit by the recession, as a consequence there were only about 50 guests at the hotel instead of their nomal... Probably the best Servigroup Hotel in Benidorm. Reception and Bar area very inviting, spacious and very well decorated. Restaurant was big and very well managed, staff were pleasant and efficient. The staff at reception were helpful and very friendly. Room was standard size with a decent size balcony and decent outdoor furniture.Rooms appeared to be recently decorated and felt fresh. It's a great hotel, close to the city center but it's need an update. The hotel is al little bit dated. The staff is very friendly, but english is sometimes a problem. The pool is very nice. The pool on the inside is very nice, with rocks. The food was very good.

We stayed at the Diplomatic for 3 nights for a family Birthday celebration. We upgraded to superior rooms, which were great - roomy and smart, great bathroom with separate shower. We stayed half board, and the standard of the food was very good. I would agree that a benefit of this hotel is the mainly Spanish clientele - much more... More

Spent 3 nights on a hen weekend at this hotel in Benidorm. It is ideally situated close to the old town and Levante beach. True the rooms are a little dated but are spotlessly clean and well maintained. Only drawback is the frosted glass salloon style door to the bathroom which affords little privacy!!! Our group was full board and... More
