this was the only hotel available for < 600Eur before the san fermin festival. the staff were really hospitable gave us the festival scarfs. the breakfast buffet was really hearty. The hotel is about a 8-10 min bus ride or a 30 min walk away form the old town where all the festivities are.

The staff were very welcoming, and the front desk staff very proficient, knowledgeable and fluent in English. Stayed for one night traveling from Barcelona to Hondarribia. Did not expect much based on other reviews and was pleasantly surprised. It was a comfortable 15 minute walk to the running of the bulls action. The room was comfortable and clean and provided a great night's sleep. Plenty of free street parking right across the street.
