Visited this hotel in April 2013. The location was great and staff was outstanding and very customer service oriented. The guest rooms were nice and newly renovated - with faux wood flooring and windows that opened. But the hotel lobby is very dark and had an odd musky smell. A very quiet and warm boutique hotel. The interiors are a unique mix of old and modern. Location is good, staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. Our suite was massive. Tall ceilings and a lot of light. Overall a very nice hotel.

Stayed 4 night at this fabulous hotel. The room was spacious and had a funky glass panel covering the bathroom. The service was faultless. The location is great. You can walk to the shopping area and main sites easily.

This is a beautiful hotel, but does have some drawbacks. The bed is very hard, there is no drawer space and the air freshener/perfume is overwhelming. However, despite these downsides, I would recommend this hotel due to its location and their fantastic staff. If this hotel had not been marketed as a Marriott product, it would have been little more than an over-priced average hotel in a great location. We probably would have sprung for the money, and been irritated by the inadequate aspects of the property, but shrugged that off.
