Booked as part of a package. Arrived late at night so took a Taxi from the airport, about 20 EUR. Pleasant and helpful staff. Rooms are spacious but sparse. Hanging rail with wooden hangers but no wardrobe door or drawers. Small desk, TV with local channels. One chair. Spacious bathroom with full-sized bath, shower over, bidet etc. Plenty of water... This was our third time staying at this hotel in Madrid & they had slightly improved Wifi situation by giving 30 mins free per day & pronise that it will be free soon! Rooms clean & beds good but the novelty of making the bus journey 4 times a day does wear off & we have promised ourselves a more... More

My girlfriend and I have just returned from a weekend break at Madrid Torrelaguna Travelodge and I can absolutely recommend it. The hotel is a little bit out of the city but this shouldn't be a worry due to the excellent public transport system. If you like exploring cities on the cheap and don't mind catching the bus, read on...!... More

The location is not so good. Its is 7 min walking to the metro. With the metro the rest of the city is easily accessible. Rooms are clean. Wifi is only free for 30 min per day.

I stayed at this travelodge on business however I like to combine business with a bit of pleasure where possible. It is a travelodge so in terms of 'luxury' there is nothing to speak of and that is the deal, fair enough BUT I pre-booked on line at one price via credit card, when I arrived I was told that... Although the hotel is a little further out of the centre, the bus stop right outside can take you there directly for 1.50 euro. Would definitely recommend the bus into the centre as opposed to the metro, as we found it hard to locate. The hotel itself is very similar to British Travelodges so you know what kind of thing... Seriously, if you are traveling for pleasure the hotel is not that important except for you sleeping there and having internet. This place sucks at both. The beds are horribly uncomfortable. And you get wifi in the common area only and pay for it elsewhere. Wise up. Tack wifi into the room charge like every other hotel in Europe and... More

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in February and having stayed at various different Travelodge hotels in the UK, I had an idea of what to expect; basic but clean and comfortable rooms. This did not disappoint and the room was spotless, the shower was very good and bed although a little stiff was still comfortable. The room was... More

Just as you would expect a travel lodge in the UK, clean and rooms just the same. Shower pressure amazing. About 10-12 minutes to the metro, didn't try the bus as the metro was so easy to use. American style bar (VIPS) nearby that does an amazing veal burger and good breakfasts. Would definately use again as would rather spend... More

We just came back from our 3day stay with Travelodge and couldn't be more happy! From the airport, take number 200 bus at the end of the terminal all the way to the last stop (Avenue de Amricas) Then cross the road to the bus stop opposite and take the number 122 bus. You cannot miss the hotel as the... More
