This hotel is not in the Centro of much of anything, across a barren strip of road at the side of a metro station, however it is easy access to anywhere in Madrid through the two metro lines nearby and even a quick trip to the airport by train.
What really made this hotel fantastic was the fitness room! This...

The hotel is next to Charmartin Metro which is great to get in and around Madrid, however outside Charmartin Station itself is full of kids on weekend nights raving it up!!! Reception Staff were great - checked all 12 of us in without any problems. The rooms are lovely and big with nice oversize double beds and a choice of...

I was on business trip to Madrid (this was my second time, first in this hotel) and have stayed there for 6 nights.
You can reach hotel by metro or taxi (around 28 euros).
Hotel is situated next to one of the largest metro stations and train station, also just 5 minutes walk from famous 4 skycrapers and Plaza de...

Lovely big bedrooms, great service on the front desk. Although it's not based in central Madrid it is only a few tube stops from any of the places you want to go, and the hotel is right next to the tube station. It is nice because it is quieter at night time. Breakfast was not great, but you could see...

This hotel is right next to the Chamartin station but the access for cars and taxis is difficult unless you know the location. The views are ugly as well although you can also see the new 4 Madrid skyscapers. If you only need a room and do not want to pay a lot then this is nearly always a good...

Walk out of the Chamartin metro station following the signs towards Plaza de Castilla, at the end of the parking lot, look right. The hotel is there. However, its proximity to the metro station does not translate into noise. Also, it is less than a 15 minute ride to Sol. We would definitely stay here again if we go to...

This hotel is a little outside of town but less than a minute walk from the hotel to the metro station, which takes about 5 -7 minutes ride downtown (and is one of the best metro systems that I have ever been on). The rooms were pretty spacious for Europe and clean and there was a nice buffet breakfast.
There...

This hotel was cool. Stayed here on a Contiki tour for 2 nights. The neighborhood is definitely far from the city center, but very close to the train station. However, the hotel is clean, well-kept, and not budget. I would sacrifice these things for a train ride to the city any day. The breakfast is also very diverse and tasty....

We stayed in two of the Tryp chain of hotels when in Spain - one in Seville and one in Madrid. We got good deals online for both. We only paid 50 per night per room. Rooms were clean and air conditioned.
The pool looked nice - but it didn't open until 12noon - so we never got to spent...
