Madrid is a fantastic city. The atmosphere is great. Beautiful buildings, many restaurants and terraces combined with great food , many great small streets. It’s great. This hotel is located very good. It is walking distance to the centre if you are prepared to walk for half an hour or so. If not, the super metro system is just a... More

Stayed two nights in Jan 2012 on business trip. Booked a double although staying as a single. Room was good size, clean but somewhat spartan decor. Mattress a little firm for me. Missing some standard items one might expect in a comparable US hotel including a box of tissues. The location of the hotel is good near a number of... More

Hotel looks small but nice, staff friendly, rooms were very specious and clean, good location near center and Metro is right next to the hotel. We had breakfast included it was pretty good nice selection. The only problem I had was it was very noisy, I guess the way hotel is build you can hear everything outside and what you... More

The room was big with a nice view, but not clean. The bathroom was clearly dirty and there were stains on the carpet and bed. It was very loud outside, though we were up 10 stories. This hotel is an addition on to the bigger; better Princess Moncloa, as ours didn't have breakfast or any amenities. Good points: The surrounding... More

The staff is nice and friendly. Perfect place to stay and visit Madrid. The rooms are clean and spacious. The hotel does a very good breakfast though any other food you may eat there is expensive. The wifi was also to expensive- 8 euro for 24 hours - considering you could get free internet with your purchase at Starbucks downstairs.

This is a seventies hotel that hasn't been refurbished since in opened. There are posters around the hotel showing pictures of refurbished rooms and public areas, but I was in an old one.. There's a really good health club with swimming pool and everything you could want, but it is open to the pubic and gets very busy.

Eight of us (4 pairs) stayed at the Husa Moncloa in October. On arrival at Airport from Liverpool we walked to Terminal 4 along covered walkways with lots of horizontal escalators – 10 minute walk. At Terminal 4 go to manned ticket-booth at bottom of steps to obtain a travel pass for required no. of days – very reasonably priced.... More

We stayed at this hotel in May, for 3 nights. Large lobby area with piano player and plenty of seating was very Spanish style with old world charm, good location to subway, shopping, cafes, Starbucks around the corner. Room was large with comfortable lounging area and bay window with spanish style furniture and nice size ensuite. The beds were not... More

i think the only complaint i have is against the receptionists and the ppl who check you in. The Husa Moncloa shares the entrance with it's 5-star sister the Husa Princesa - so there was utter chaos! there were long queus for check-in, ppl didnt know what to do, one receptionist actually broke down while arguing with a customer abt...
