Stayed 4 nights in this hotel. Overall everything in the hotel works flawlessly. The location is great for a tourist wishing to explore Madrid -- pretty much everything can be reached with a short walk. The bar/resto under the big dome is excellent. One minor bother was that wifi is not free -- for a hotel this pricey one would... More

Great old building that Westin remodeled. Terrific location close to the Prada and easy walks to the main squares. I really like the fact that we got a rate that included free internet, wifi, and any movies they offered... and breakfast buffet every morning under the beautiful stained glass rotunda.

Beautiful lobby, great bar and restaurant in the atrium (a little pricey) but very comfortable. Staff very attentive, informative and polite. I had an executive bedroom which was very comfortable. Despite a demonstration on the roads (avregular event in Madrid, it appears!), i could not hear a thing even though my room overlooked the road. Will definitely stay again -... More

Stayed at the Palace with our tour group in May. Very busy place; lots of business people and tourists and the lobby can be a bit loud. The location is EXCELLENT; close to all major attractions and within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Rooms were comfortable and clean however there was no turn down service. Breakfast buffet was very... More

The Westin Palace deserves its five star rating. The property, location and staff are all deserving of five stars. From the time we were picked up at the airport we have been greeted by name and taken care of as if we were family. (for 101 euro the car should have been equipped with waters and hand cloths after the... More

The Palace is like an old, reliable, very polite old friend you have in a far-off land of wonder. We love coming to this hotel after the long exhausting flight from the States and invariably finding our rooms ready, no matter how early we arrive. This is our fifth stay here and the service is as good as ever. even... More

Very good hotel, with everything running like clockwork. The rooms are comfortable and luxurious, and the breakfast is excellent. Staff were efficient and helpful, and the wine shop in the lobby is definitely worth a visit.

Stayed at the Westin Palace Madrid during Thanksgiving 2011. Great location to the Prado museum and within walking distance to a self-service laundromat which was great after eight days of living off a suitcase. Very nice room with Westin Heavenly bed which was definitely heavenly on par with the W signature bed in the W Barcelona. Being that we must... More

World class hotel in a formal city. Check-in was a non-issue, room was ready ahead of time. The rooms are quite small, even by European standards. We chose to upgrade to the king suite (without the view so we could have quiet) and with a little bit of hesitation on our part the price of the upgrade came down. The... More
