I have just spent 3 nights in this hotel and I genuinely only have nice things to say about it. I didn't do much research, apart from a quick look on Trip Advisor, so I wasn't really sure what to expect. I was very impressed... We were checked in by a very nice man on reception, he was friendly and... More

Whilst the hotel is in a good central position and was as expected in regard to rooms, restaurant etc. we had very little sleep. This was due to 2 wedding receptions being held in the hotel, one of which finished at 07.30. Music was being played all night until then. It was, however, a Saturday night although this does not... The hotel is very beautiful, clean, new, and located in a perfect spot. The breakfast was good and the staff was very helpful. Our overall experience was very positive, but there were 3 things that disrupted our stay. First the air conditioning in our room wasn't working well, they sent someone to fix it but it didn’t change its malfunction.... More

Stayed in this hotel on business. Hotel staff were very friendly especially in the restaurant. The food was amazing, haute cuisine. The tapas had such a variety from of tail to fois gras and so many fish varieties. Shame the pool doesn't open until the 1st March and the bedrooms were very small. Mine was completely purple and whilst I... More

Hotel is adjacent to shopping(El Corte Ingles), fine restaurants, theatres, metro, taxis, etc. Staff was very helpful - gave us tips on how to get to Caja Magica to watch Rafael Nadal, Federer, Williams and Sharapova play. The restaurant offered gourmet tapas and delectable dinners. The Cuevas de Sando was an amazing bar. The English channels on TV were adequate (BBC, CNN, Skynews). Emjoyed... More

If you decide to stay at this hotel, chain your possessions to you. The staff admits that they have no security, other than an occasional camera or two in the lobby. My purse was stolen from a corner chair during breakfast in the restaurant. Please understand that breakfast is for guests only, and a hotel employee stands at the podium... More

Very good location for sightseeing by walking and excellent metro access. Start of stay was awful due very rude and unhelpful lady on the check in desk, who did nothing to resolve the lack of kettles within the bedrooms and my infant who needed milk in the night. However the duty manager resolved this the following day by sending a... More

Very centrally located close to santo domingo metro, walking distance from plaza del sol. I have been here on business trip and there is not much To complain. Pricewise bit expansive but you can get good deals on the web. Bfast not included but better having it in one of the close bar in the area. Rooms are nice and... More

So, we stayed two nights here. Great, central location, and warm, comfy rooms. It's an old building, and so you either get a window out onto the main street (noisy) or a room with an inside view of a back wall and some water pipes. We got the inside room. Very dark, even with the lights on. The en suite... More

This hotel really has a great location, within 20 metres of the front door is a metro station & a supermarket, within a 5minute walk is the Gran Via. If you want to walk a bit further then within 15-20 minutes is some great areas in Madrid. It's not going to win any awards but it is what it is,... More
