Booked through hostels.com and my wife & I had a great 3 nights. Small rooms but immaculately clean, ensuite, serviced daily, TV, perfect location, great price, couldn't fault it. Delightful owner too. Highly recommended.

Stayed here for three nights as a short break. Had trouble finding it initially on foot in the maze of streets and squares of Santiago. This hostel was better than expected.The room was a bit small but comfortable and very clean with a nice little ensuite overlooking the square (room 3). We also had use of the kitchen. This is probably not the best option in Santiago, but the location is great: right in front of the cathedral. It is the tipical guest house that inspite of being old and a bit dusty has this old-fashioned charm. The tipical recommendation for globe trotters travelling with the "Lonely Planet" guide book.
