Lovely old monastery very well located...150 m walk from the cathedral.Breakfast was excellent but pricey at €16 p.h. Room was large, quiet with good views out the window of all coming and going.Front desk staff could not be faulted. They were ever so helpful, finding lost luggage for an associate. We would stay again.

The location cannot be beaten. Tbe rooms are very spacious considering it is a monastery. The service is 5 star. The Franciscan monks are honored & reflected in the use of brown like their robes and the minimalist approach to the decor. There are some lovely event spaces. Cant wait to go back.

Stayed here 2 nights and had a wonderful corner room. True example where the ancient meets the modern with the best of both. Lovely use of Spanish stone and modern almost Scandinavian style cabinetry to create a peaceful and welcoming room that was quite spacious. Stone used in bathroom on tub wall, which was unique and beautiful, there were towel... More

This Hotel was a bonus after completing some of the Camino A very welcome pool and spa was bliss to relieve some of the aching muscles. A comfortable room and friendly helpful staff was much appreciated.

Interesting to drive to but once you are here you are so in to the historic centre that you do not need your car until you leave. Only few hundred metres from Cathedral. Superior room 407 very good. View to the front but quiet. Cafeteria and also breakfast room just ok. No great bar areas for pre dinner aperitif. Pool... More

This is a great hotel and it is the best possible place to stay in Santiago de Compostela. the location is superb, the facilities are great and the staff couldn't be friendlier or more helpful. It is amazing to me that the management can run such a good hotel at such competitive rates. Granted, the rooms aren't enormous but they... More

Affordable and luxury don't typically go hand in hand in the same sentence. But that is exactly what you get with this property. Ritz Carlton type of polished front desk staff with one of the best breakfast buffets I have seen in the entire country of Spain. Don't bother looking next door to the Parador.

For our final 2 nights in Spain we were recommended to stay here and were not disappointed. More like a 5* hotel in all aspects. Free parking at rear of hotel. Clean, comfortable, friendly and courteous staff. The buffet breakfast was very good too with a mix of guests and Franciscan Monks. Go walking round the whole of the hotel... More
