A good, simple place; great location. Loud street noise. Shower had hot H2O. In the Gothic Quarter, close to many attractions. While I was out, my things were safe & secure in the room. Friendly staff speaks English wrll enough.

Stayed here in 2007 for 3 nights. I had a room with a view on ........ a shaft. Appeared I was overbooked and this was the last room they could supply us. But hey it's in the Gothic Area and next to the Ramblas. If you have to visit Barcelona in 3 days, you don't need to spend time in... More

My two young children and I stayed here for one night. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. This hotel definitely has charm. The staff was friendly and helpful. Great location, right around the corner from the Gothic Quarter and a short walk to El Borne district. Great food right by the hotel too. We had a triple... More

There are very few positives to take out of a 5 night stay at this "hotel", they call it a hotel but i've stayed in better hostels. I arrived mid afternoon and was given a single room in the main building. After negotiating a very dodgy elevator, i arrived at my small single room. The initial reaction was the God... More

The location is the only thing that is positive about the hotel. We got a room that was for one person but they put a double bed in it. The only view we've got from our room, was a shaft!! The smell was terrible! Also, they might aswell get rid of the walls, the don't do anything about the noise.... More

Very tiny cramped room and the smallest bathroom I've ever seen, but the location was brilliant and you get what you pay for. Would recommend this hotel if you don't want to waste money on a hotel room when all you need is a comfortable bed.

I had the worst experience in this hotel!! When I arrived to the Hotel I was literally just kicked out!!!!, they gave my room to another person! and i was treated very rude when the situation was not favorable for the receptionist. Anyway, they told me that they cancelled my booking and no charge was going to be done on... More

On arrival the receptionist informed us that only three of the four rooms we had booked and paid for in advance were available . When pressed he admitted that in fact there were four rooms available, it would appear that because two of the original sixteen people booked to stay were unable to make the trip he thought he could... Bit overpriced for what you get but the location is so amazing. Right in the heart of the Barri Gotic but also within walking distance of the funicular to Montjuic, Ramblas, the port and a Metro statuion is only a minute away by foot to get further afield. Thought the rooms were cramped and outdated but clean and safe. The... More

Was a little worried about staying here after reading the reviews but we found it to be perfectly clean and centrally located within a short walk of all that the Barri Gothic area has to offer. We stayed for three nights and although the hotel is old fashioned and the rooms basic, you get what you pay for and this... More
