Overall this is a good place to stay. The location is excellent, the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean but basic.The bathroom was small, but clean and had a great shower with fresh towel every day - but you'll need to get your own shower gel as none provided.

The hostal is quite simple, but staff is really friendly and rooms and bathrooms are quite clean. Most of the rooms have balcony and air conditioning works perfect. Recommended for budget travelers.

We were slightly nervous about staying in a Hostal especially one with mixed reviews but we were pleasantly surprised. Yes the room was basic but it was clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly. The computer in the lounge was very useful too. We'll definitely go back next time we're in Barcelona.
