The perfect place to stay based on location. Our room was tiny but ingeniously laid out so that it was useful. The novelty of beer and wine on tap wore off quickly - wine not very good, beer sometimes didn't work. Very good staff made the stay easy. Hotel itself a little run-down but it worked for us.

This was our third stay at the hotel. It's fun to stay here. It's not your average hotel. It has a lot of atmosphere. And it's really funky. I hope they never change it. The first time, we stayed with our grandkids and the free all you can eat buffet was the big hit especially the soda and ice cream.... More

Can't believe this is rated so highly. Very disappointed with the hotel, the rooms, the bathroom, the noise, the breakfast, almost everything. The only good thing about this hotel is its location and the friendly girls at the reception desk. Upon checkin the guy behind the desk told the girl to give us the room that's noisy near the cleaners... More

Had a pre cruise of 3 nights. Great location. La Ramblas is just outside the main door. 24 hr light buffet was a welcome treat after a tiring day. Clean room and bath facilities. Enjoyed my stay.

We stayed a few nights in mid April,2012. Well kept, clean. Friendly and helpful staff, 24 hour buffet with snacks, sodas, coffees, and wines. One minute walk to Plaza Catalunya, where we caught the airport bus on the morning of our departure. An excellent value offering friendly staff and a superb location.

Had the pleasure of one night post cruise. The Hotel Continental is great, good location, excellent and kind staff. This is not your American chain hotel, it's fun and funky and should be experienced. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Our group of 8 stayed here for three days after a cruise. Typical smaller European rooms but nicely appointed. Hotel is directly on the Ramblas and one block from Plaza Catalunya. It was very convenient for travel access from and to the airport as well as the metro and the Renfre stations. Yes, the wallpaper is a bit over the top, but where else in the world can you get a dining area adjacent to the lobby that is essentially open 24/7 and has free wine and beer?
