Using European standards, the hotel was clean and comfortable. Compared to other hotels in the area, it's a "diamond in the rough". However, I could not justify spending the same amount for this hotel again. The breakfast buffet was overpriced and lacking variety... I recommend taking a morning stroll and eat at one of the restaurants on the La Rambla.

Grums has an excellent multilingual staff, amazing spanish buffet breakfast (though I would skip the scrambled eggs--there are many better options) and really nice rooms. We only spent 1 night in this hotel, but we absolutely loved the nicely decorated room and the spacious terrace. The hotel was located at only 10 minutes' walk to the Ramblas and next to the Via Parallel, where there were a lot of nice little restaurants. This hotel is perfect to explore Barcelona. The room was clean and comfortable,although a kettle would have been good! The pool/spa area is nice and better than expected. Great location, clean public areas and rooms, friendly staff, quiet hotel. Travelled here with my partner last week, and do not have a bad word to say about the hotel. Excellent location near Marina and good access to Metro. Allowed to check in early due to our flight times, and hotel were very accommodating for our wait for late flight... More
