Ive stayed here for one night, owner was friendly, room was cool, with tv and balcony, the location is fine, few minutes to catalunya, close to arc de triomf.

very good value for the money...good bathrooms, clean, renovated... quadruple rooms are quite large, warm, with fridge and some vessel...staff very friendly

No window, no washroom for nearly $100 CDN per night. Clean sheets, tram sounds like it's running right under you. Staff start crashing around near 5am. Next!

Booked this for 2 nights but probably wouldn't return. The family who run the place are lovely but it really needs updating. It reminded me of a 70's school dormitory - like going back in time but not in a good way. 70 euro a night isn't bad considering you're ten mins walk from Placa Catalunya but the beds are... More

Ribagorza hostal is not particularly cheap,however it is a good hotel,its in more of a hostal style (you know there are no extra frills like tea and coffee making facilites in the room,or the all important trouser press :) ) However who needs this type of thing when your'e in barcelona.
