The Hotel Diagonal Mar is a great deal. It is modern and conveniently located to shopping and dining. The front desk staff was excellent and very accommodating when we arrived. The rooms were a bit small, adequate. The rooftop pool was fantastic.

Its only few subway stations away from Ramblas. Big shopping mall and subway just across the street. Hotel is very modern, rooms spacious, bed very comfortable. Delicious breakfast. Perfect alternative for those who do not mind to travel 15 mins to Barcelona center.

This shouldn't be a 4 star hotel. It checks the boxes you need for a 4 stars, but it's cutting corners in those areas and others, too.
