Wow! What a memorable night's stay! We arrived in the afternoon and Leire was just LOVELY! So welcoming, friendly and helpful. She even helped us figure out the parking ticket machine and gave us coins so we didn't have to make change. We only had one afternoon/evening and part of the morning to spend in San Sebastian. Leire helped us... More

This was our first trip to San Sebastian and we chose the Bellas Artes based on research we had done beforehand. Although out stay was brief (two days) we were overwhemed with the genuine hopsitality of the owners Leire and her mother Carmen who made us feel like family as soon as we arrived. Part of our stay involved doing... More

Ditto to all the wonderful comments about Leire & Carmen and the clean, comfortable home environment they create while on vacation. My friend and I used Bellas Artes as the central point to travel in and around San Sebastian for 12 nights. They are so gracious with their knowledge and expertise about the northern coast of Spain and France where... More

As many have already stated it is Leire and Carmen that make this great, they are so warm and friendly that you wish you were a relative. I would also say that the location is quite good and provided easy access to everything. Rooms are small and can be loud but are immaculate and have all the essentials. We were... More

To visit San Sebastian without meeting Leire and Her mother Carmen would be such a loss. Indeed, the pension is clean, lovely and in a beautiful location for walking to most places. Carmen and her daughter truly love their city and want each visitor to fall under the magic of San Sebastian. What does happen is that one falls under... More

We stayed here on Saturday night of Semana Santa, which is also Spring Break for many French. The room was gorgeous, the mother/daughter owners were extremely accomodating and helpful (well above even our high expectations based on reviews).

After the many TripAdvisor reviews, our family of four booked Bellas Artes for our 5 night stay. It must be remembered that this is not a hotel and does not pretend to be. It is however comfortable, remarkably clean and well located. As for other reviewers, the standout for us were Leira and Carmen who could not have been more... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bellas Artes. Leira was a fun and energetic host. We were celebrating my father in laws 80th birthday with 19 family members. Only my family of 5 stayed at Belles Artes. Quite sincerely, the rest of the family members feel they missed out not staying here! Because we were such a big group we... More

There is a reason this place continually wins awards and praise from guests. Lierre and Carmen were the most fantastic hosts, providing great recommendations for places to eat, bars to visit and great day trips around town, helping to make San Sebastian the highlight or our trip to Europe. Their passion for their town and interest in their guests was... More

Thank you Liera for our wonderful stay at Bellas Artes over the Easter weekend. Your mother and you welcomed us into your pension just like we were members of the family. Your very thorough guide of the city was superb - all the restaurants and tapas bars you recommended were excellent. The Lagun Aro GBC basketball game was also very... More
