Nice staff, clean but impersonal rooms. A 10 min walk to bars and restaurants, very close to the "surf beach". The breakfast and the room it's served in is a joke.

Very nice hotel, friendly staff, a bit expensive considering the breakfast.
Booked a room for 3 nights at 169 euro/night (no breakfast). Location was nice. Staff at times helpful, at times indifferent (like the time I asked for soap from the front desk and was told to go find the housekeepers on the second floor). Free wifi included. Room was tiny as was the bathroom. The toilet was weirdly positioned next...

Some hotels charge a lot, but you come away satisfied, feeling that you managed to extract some value for your money. Unfortunately this was not one of those places. The location was really quite good (10 minute walk from the bustle of night bars, and yet quiet - genius!), the staff were very friendly, and the room was clean and...

We had a excellent stay in this very clean new place. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, the location in the Gros area is very good, the hotel provides free coffee's and drinks, and the rooms have a nice bright modern decor. A sure pick in San Sebastian's expensive hotel market.
The room looked exactly like in the pictures on the website. Everything was very clean and the hotel is well located - short walk to the beach and old town. One of the receptionists (unfortunately I don't know his name) was very very nice and helpful, gave us recommendations about a lot of things (walks, restaurants, wines etc..). First we...

The hotel was easy to find, well sign-posted and located in the "Gros" area, which was about 10 minutes walk from the old town and centre.
The reception was open 24-hours and staff were always friendly.
The hotel was new and did not provide breakfast, however, there was a small room used as a cafeteria which had a fridge stocked...

Underground room (room 5) to be avoided at all costs.139 E for a tiny room with a view of a wall no difference in price with the other rooms. Very disappointed , thankfully we were there for just two nights. The website and the brochure are not representative.
We stayed for 4 nights at Arrizul Gros in one of the 4. floor suites. The suite is app. 32 square meters, seperate bedroom, small kitchen with washing mashine and a very nice large batroom. The hotel (and suite) is completely newly renovated within the last months so everything was new (including the A/C, which we had to get accustomed...
