We went to the bull pestival in Pamplona and needed to stop off close to the airport on our way home. We chose this hotel and it was good. Comfortable beds. but i didnt get under the covers just in case.
When we first arrived at this hotel it was late at night in July this year we thought the worst as the hotel is next to a couple of sex shops and at first it seemed a bit seedy. But after a good nights sleep the next day we were happy to see that the location is great. Supermarkets and...

This is a no frills hotel, with friendly staff, who were keen to make sure I made the most of my trip to the city. Although not in the city centre, it is only a short walk away, and as a single female traveller, I felt perfectly safe in the area. There is also a very conveniently located nearby.
I stayed here for 3 nights with 2 friends. We had a friendly welcome.
We all had single rooms. They were clean and had the usual facilities, including a small bath with plenty of hot water.
Initially we thought our rooms were cold until we realised we could switch on the radiators; perhaps we should have been told this on...

The hotel is good for the budget. It has wi-fi and the breakfast was OK.
It is not located in the best area, you need to walk for 15-20minutes to reach the very centre of Bilbao.
Though the staff were very friendly and helpful,
the non smoking room we stayed did smell like tobacco. The walls are yellow/brown and so...

It is far too expensive for what you get, it's a glorified hostel. Location is pretty good, but the staff is not attentive at all. If I had to do it again, I would not stay here.
I thought that with a name like 'Vista Alegre' the hotel might have pleasant rooms and nice views, but I shortly learned that the name refers instead to the district. Fair enough. But I had a depressing and poorly-lit room with a window facing an internal wall. I've travelled a lot in Spain, having stayed in the vast majority of...

I stayed here for a couple of nights as part of a Christmas weekend away. Because of this the cost played a big role in where I chose to stay and the Vista Alegre is pretty cheap (I paid 96 euros for 2 nights).
The location of the hotel is pretty good - within walking distance of the very pretty...

Bilbao's hotels are a rather pricey lot when compared to those of other Spanish cities, and I see from other Trip Advisor reviews that many are located in no-go areas.
This hotel is in a residential neighbourhood surrounded by apartment blocks. A large supermarket with sandwiches and cold drinks is conveniently close by: so is an internet café and several...

I stayed at the Vista Alegre Hotel hotel for 4 nights. It is within walking distance to all the main attractions.
My main hangups where:
1. The bath is far too small - only the size of a childs bath
2. The price seems too expensive.
3. Breakfast is too expensive.
4. The price I was quoted did not include...
