I really enjoyed my three-night stay here. The location was great: close to lots of nice bars and restaurants and a short walk from the sea. I attended a conference and most of the other hotel options were along the beach. These seemed to be much larger hotels with more facilities, but with less atmosphere. I was very happy to... More

Room not quite as airy and spacious as the pictures showed, but it was a nice clean hotel in the heart of Gijon - recommended if you are planning to get out and about.

A little tricky to find the first time, but the location is truly perfect. The trick is when you're heading north on Paseo de Begona take it to the end and make a LEFT into the alley. It'll be immediately on your right. We arrive in a rental minivan and was worried it wouldn't fit in the garage lift, but... More

Parking in the garage was a challenge due to a narrow street, and even more narrow garage lift, but for 11 euro a day it was worth it for the peace of mind to be parked safely... not that Gijon is dangerous, but with a Spanish rental car and minimal insurance, its best to be safe. The hotel staff is... More

So hard to find - forget sat nav, forget locals, we found it after 45 mins searching, but well worth it. Great location for sight seeing, great location to sea and town. Right on the restaurants - actually, terrific location for a hotel with excellent underground parking, once you find it. Fantastic breakfast and first class staff. So impressed, going... More

I stayed here over 3 nights in June on a trip of Northern Spain and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The rooms are clean, small & have a refreshing blue & white color scheme The bathroom is compact, no tub only a shower & a small amount of shower gel satchets in a basket. The windows have very good double glazing... More

Excellent location: blocks from the port and beaches and down-town. Excellent real-estate, brand new (opened June 2009) Ample and beautiful rooms. Excellent break-fast. Plus all-day open restaurant. Great feature: on-site Parking! * note: bring a map to find the place or call the hotel when near for directions. Due to pedestrian streets and narrow alleys, it is not easy to... More
